Silesian regional job market - as it is often underlined in subject literature - is a special type of market, shaped by the centuries of tradition in development of the mining industry as well as iron and steel industry. The analysis is based on data from CBOP and the System of Online Job Offers (SIOP) developed by the Institute of Labour and Social Studies and covers the years 2017-2018. The paper discusses actual trends on the Polish labour market.

The outcome of unemployment has affected both employees as a social group and local communities. The results of the research, also presented in the thesis, refer to the opinions of people looking for a job and employers on the selected questions dealing with the role of communication in the process of job hunting. The study was aimed at investigation 1) effect of job and family demands on job and marital satisfaction, 2) mediating role of work-family and family-work conflicts and differences between women and men in regards to work the conflicts and job and marital satisfaction.

This study provides recommendations that can increase the job satisfaction level of faculty members and praca spawacz anglia improve motivational environment in higher education institutions.
